The shame corner

They're both written by the incomparable @HisFilthyWhore (aka HFW) who is, quite literally on fire at the moment. There is steam coming out of her pen. And quite possibly her panties.
Anyway, the point is that they introduce us to the concept of "The shame corner." It's a subject that needs some more in-depth discussion, I feel.
Definition:
The shame corner: a place you go when you've done something mortifyingly shameful.
Purpose:
To highlight the shameful behaviour that you’ve just performed. It should not be considered punishment: the shame is not that you have performed below par which might displease your Owner. No, it’s that you’ve done something which makes you feel horrifyingly abashed. You should feel it is right that you get sent to the shame corner. You might even go sit there of your own accord.
Location:
Not necessarily a corner! It can be anywhere, but it should be private - or privy only to a select few who can witness you being shamed and shame-faced - because you may well be naked and/or performing tasks of a nature not-suitable-for-the-general-public. It can be the corner, but equally you can be chained to a tree in the garden or crouching on the floor in the bathroom next to the toilet. (HFW’s proposal was that it is wedged between a couch and a table leg, her legs spread either side of the table leg so her cunt is pressed up against it for humping purposes.)
Attire:
To remind you of why you are there, you should be dressed in a shameful fashion. No clothes at all is certainly one possibility, but there are many others. As HFW suggested in her post, naked apart from panties and bra which are pulled down to leave you exposed is a good suggestion. Other ideas would be:
- have you dressed in extreme slut fashion
- with sloppily applied make-up
- with cum over you
- in a diaper
- wearing your dirty panties over your head
- wearing a pig snout
Activity:
Unlike a punishment time-out, when you are in the shame corner you should be performing some demeaning and denigrating activity. Humping your Owner's boot as per the original discussion is a perfect illustration. Writing out, and then reading back, lines describing your behaviour is also appropriate. Having names and phrases written on your body is an ideal means to get you to reflect on what sort of person you are.
Visibility:
For maximum effect you should be visible to at least your Owner, and ideally one or more others when in the shame corner. Maybe you are live streamed over a zoom session with someone who previously respected you. Or maybe your Owner videos it to show some of your mutual friends when you are all together having a meal and some drinks.

You should, between the two of you, be able to come up with a description of what the shame corner looks like for you. Consider location, attire, activity and visibility.
